Rhonda received her Juris Doctor degree from Oklahoma City University School of Law in 2005. Prior to attending law school, Rhonda obtained an Honors Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Central Oklahoma. While attending law school, she started the Lesbian and Gay Law Student Association on campus where she served as President for two years. She also interned at the Native American Resource Center. Following law school, Rhonda opened her own firm, where she gained valuable litigation experience in the family law arena and acquired expertise in real estate and foreclosure defense issues. Rhonda was also a contract attorney with the Oklahoma County Public Defender’s Office representing parents in deprived cases for many years.
In 2015, Rhonda took three cases to the Oklahoma Supreme Court where she won unanimous verdicts for her clients: Fleming v. Hyde, Ramey v. Sutton, and Newland v. Taylor; all cases involving non-biological parents’ rights in child custody cases. In 2016, she expanded her solo practice to bring additional attorneys into the firm. She now manages Inner Vision Legal and its team of attorneys and support staff and leads the firm on its path to providing affordable legal services to Oklahomans around the state.
In her free time, Rhonda enjoys spending time with her spouse and watching sports, especially OKC Thunder basketball.
